The Baton Rouge Middle School Soccer program gives young student-athletes, boys and girls, the opportunity to participate in a fun and competitive league in affiliation with their school. We do realize that not all students have a school based team to participate with so special considerations will be made for those students that wish to participate that do not have a team to play on from their school. This is done in an effort to give every child an opportunity to play. Teams placement will be contingent on several factors: ages, grades in school, playing experience, and ability level. Coaches recommendations will be taken into consideration with the league director having the final say regarding team placement. Players are allowed to play with their middle school and club teams at the same time.

2020-2021 Middle School Pre-Season Timeline

October 12 - Online Team and Player registration opens at www.brsoccer.org

October 23 - Deadline for teams to register online.

  • All teams will need to register and pay online before being placed in a Middle School Division.
  • Players will need to register online.
  • Any player not registered with an LSA affiliated club will need to pay an individual insurance fee to cover the Middle School soccer season.  This will be a part of the individual player registration process.

October 26 - Coaches / Managers scheduling meeting (7:00pm - location TBD)

November 2 - practices at Burbank / Independence Park begin

November 14 - Games begin (6 game regular season)

Week 1 games - November 14 (limited game slots due to BRSC scheduled events)
Week 2 games - November 21/22
Week 3 games - November 28/29
Week 4 games - December 5/6
Week 5 games - December 12/13
Week 6 games - December 19/20
Week 7 games - January 2/3
Week 8 games - January 9/10 (rain out weekend)
Tournament - January 16/17
